新加坡南安会馆成立于1926年,她的前身是1836年始建于丹戎巴葛青山亭附近的凤山寺。现有会员一千八百多名。故是先有寺庙,后有会馆的乡团组织。
Established in 1926, it initially served as a gathering place for Lam Ann people and gradually developed into a significant center for cultural preservation, economic cooperation, and community development.
Over the years, it has facilitated various initiatives such as the establishment and restoration of Fengshan Temple, cultural activities, fundraising for temple renovations, and promoting youth engagement through initiatives like the establishment of youth groups.
Furthermore, the association has been recognized for its efforts in heritage preservation and fostering connections among different communities, such as through events like the World Lam Ann Associations Convention.
Through multifaceted efforts, the association continues to promote the spirit of Lam Ann, strengthen bonds among its members, and contribute to the cultural and economic development of Singapore.
The Singapore Lam Ann Association was formally registered in 1924. Hong San See Temple has a long-standing connection with the Lam Ann Association. The founders of the association held meetings at Hong San See Temple to plan its establishment. In 1926, the Lam Ann Association set up its own clubhouse on Anson Road. In the 1970s, the Lam Ann Association Building was constructed in front of Hone San See Temple, and since then, the association has managed Hong San See Temple up to the present day.
