In 2023, Shuilangtou Fengshan Temple hosted a grand celebration on the 22nd day of the second lunar month, marking the 1000th anniversary of the birth of the Holy Patriarch in the Year of Gui Mao. They arranged 100 banquet tables to warmly welcome numerous local friends and villagers, with every seat occupied.
During the celebration, a fundraising auction was held, featuring a giant birthday bun measuring up to 25 cm in height and 63 cm in width, which achieved recognition in the Singapore Records for 2023.
I, as advisor, Mr. Chen Yifu, donated the "Hundred Blessings Painting" as one of the auction items, raising SGD 100,000 for three charitable welfare organizations: Shan Ji Yi She, Zhong Hong Welfare Association, and SUNCARE SG.
2024—In this year’s celebration of Shenggong’s birthday, our association’s president, Neo Ka Kiat, donated back the "Hundred Blessings Painting" he had auctioned in 2023. The painting was auctioned again raising SGD 100,000 for several charitable organizations: Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society, Sian Chay Medical Institution, Metta Welfare Association, and Thong Chai Medical Institution.Once again, we set the records in the Singapore Book of Records for 2024 with the largest Huat Kueh, Shou Tao Tower and Mian Xian Tower.
