In 2023, led by President Neo Kah Kiat and Executive Advisor Tan Aik Hock, the Singapore Lam Ann Association hosted the ten-day “Inaugural Singapore Hokkien Lam Ann Festival,” setting a record for the longest cultural festival by an association in Singapore and achieving outstanding success.
This year, we’re excited to bring you the “Second Singapore Hokkien Lam Ann Festival.” Our mission is to celebrate and preserve the rich traditions of Nan’an, promote the spirit of “great generosity and love, courage to fight and win,” and highlight the core values of Shenggong culture—loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, and righteousness.

The Nan’an community takes pride in our cultural heritage, inspired by the perseverance and dedication of our ancestors. Through this vibrant festival, we aim to pass down these cultural treasures from generation to generation.
With over 400,000 Nan’an people in Singapore, the annual Lam Ann Festival provides a platform for more people to understand the Nan’an spirit. We hope to attract more Nan’an individuals to join the Lam Ann Association, especially the younger generation.
The Lam Ann Association remains committed to adapting to changing times and progressing alongside the nation, fostering unity and contributing to the prosperity and social stability of our country.
